Respected Members of Our Atlanta Malayalee Community,
The GAMA Executive Committee would like to convey our sincere gratitude for your involvement and wonderful support in making the GAMA 2011 Inauguration Program a huge success. We thank you for taking the time from out of your busy schedule to come to the program. We wish to take this opportunity to appreciate everyone's valuable time and effort to make this program such a sensation.
Firstly, a big thank you goes to Congressman Tom Price for inaugurating our GAMA 2011 activities inspite of a very busy schedule with the budget crisis in Washington D.C. Despite his time constraints, Congressman Tom Price allotted time for us to grace the occasion. We are also ever so grateful for the presence of all the religious and community leaders who joined us along with most of the former GAMA Presidents. We thank each and every one of you in joining us.
We thank our sponsors, every one of them for their support to the event. A big appreciation goes to our mega sponsor Shaju Mathew Pullazhyil. GAMA appreciates all of you!!
GAMA Executive Committee would like to broaden their thanks to all the selfless volunteers who chose to miss out the spectacular programs and whose hardwork behind the scenes made sure programs were such a success. In addition, special thanks to the following volunteers for their whole hearted involvement;
- Laila Melethe, Tom Makkanal, and Jophy Augustine who welcomed the members and volunteered to sell tickets. Saly Thampu and Letha Thomas did an amazing job as backstage coordinators; they ensured every program went on time as planned.
- Paul Mathew and his team for the Chendamelam and St.Alphonsa Church for supporting us by letting us use their equipment for the Chendamelam.
- Mrs. Agnes Karivelil, our Womens Forum Coordinator, and the Youth forum for the Thalapoli. The Chendamelam and Thalapoli sensationalized nostalgia, creating a culturally enthralling scope of the ways of celebration from our home, Kerala.
- Merin Joshy, Alan Thomas, and Akil Kalathil for leading the youth and reassure them in their endeavors to urge other youth to partake in the celebration of our heritage. We always encourage the youth to get involved and immerse themselves in our tradition.
- Sreenath for singing the prayer song and Angela Thomas and Jaisly for singing the national anthem. Meera Puthiyadath and Jyothi Anush for being the hostesses for our cultural programs.
