Dear GAMA Family:
We wanted to keep everyone informed on the activities and progress being made for GAMA 2023. The goal is to ensure that we keep you all in the loop and receive feedback from our GAMA family, which will help us make any necessary course corrections for the remainder of our tenure. We already received few feedback, which we implemented/in the process of implementing, and would like to make use of this opportunity to do a complete outreach with the community. Much appreciated for your continued support.
GAMA 2023 EC, kicked off on New Year, Jan 1st, in a grand fashion with an astonishing $11K sponsorship and 12 Membership. On behalf of GAMA Family, would like to acknowledge and share our gratitude for the unprecedented support you all bestowed on us. Must admit that, this support, confidence you all entrusted, gave the self-assurance for us to kick off our next 365 days of journey. We cant thank enough for all your continued support.
List of GAMA 2023 Activities Performed till date:
1. Women’s forum Kick Off: One of the Key things we project this year is Women’s equality and participation. Glad to inform that we kicked off GAMA 2023 activities with Women’s wellness program – Mommy & Kids Zumba Dance, which witnessed a record 30 pairs Mommy/Kids registering and participating in the program.
2. Resuming GAMA Malayalam Academy: Left no stones unturned in resuming GAMA’s proud program GAMA Malayalam Academy and enrolling new kids and families. Much appreciated for all your support for the Academy. Wishing the very best for this program for the forthcoming years as well.
3. Published GAMA Calendar outlining the year-round program for 2023. We received good amount of feedback to include few additional things like College Readiness Buddy Program, Women’s Day initiatives, Senior Meetup, which we incorporated. Thanks for your valued feedback, please continue to do so, that will help us to improve over the course of 12 months period.
4. Cards 28, 56 Tournaments. This witnessed a mind-boggling 10 teams’ participation, in a packed evening, not compromising the spirit, hunger and passion. Never realized GAMA had these many passionate Card players. Thanks to all participants, support from their family to dedicate their personal time for GAMA initiatives, much appreciated.
5. GAMA Signature Inauguration concept, cultural show kick off initiatives. Thanks for all the overwhelming support we received towards this, the Can-Do-Attitude absolutely paid off in such a way that the cultural participants quickly rallied behind the concept and started the ball rolling in no time. One feedback we received is, how do we make sure every Kid, Adult or in a broader term GAMA Member gets an opportunity to perform in GAMA stage. Your voices are heard, and we started an initiative to collect the details of everyone who would like to perform but doesn’t have any specific group or team. Our goal is to make sure every GAMA member gets an equal chance to showcase their talent.
6. Membership Drive: Last but not the least, with all your support, we were able to hit 250 Membership Milestone in 6 week time and 314 Memberships in 8 week time. This absolutely shows the passion with GAMA and the ability of all GAMA members to get unified, united under GAMA umbrella. Let’s continue to do the same and lets Together Be Stronger. Thank you everyone, let’s continue to raise the bar and make it stronger.
7. There are several other initiatives planned for March including Badminton, Adopt-A-Road, please continue to extend your long arm of support and let’s Make GAMA Stronger, Youthful and Inclusive.
