Welcome to the GAMA Malayalam Academy
Part of GAMA’s mission is to preserve our cultural heritage and ensure that upcoming
generations have a good understanding of the Malayalam language. This will also help
tomorrow’s stars to engage with the community and promote and participate with interest in
social and cultural activities organized through the years. In addition to bridging the possible
language barrier with extended family back in Kerala/India, understanding the language will also
acquaint them to an enormous genre of literature, media and other entertainment opportunities.
GAMA had been running an independent Malayalam Academy for several years, but in 2024,
we partnered with the Malayalam Mission project under Government of Kerala, with a mission to
promote understanding of the Malayalam language and culture worldwide, mainly benefiting
children of expatriate Malayalees. The Mission offers certificates, several diplomas and
advanced courses based on level of understanding of the language.
